Face Deduplication Data Collection (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for individuals to help build a large, diverse facial image dataset for machine‑learning research at TELUS. The task involves submitting current neutral selfies, head‑pose captures, and historical photos to improve facial‑recognition models.

Key responsibilities

• Take and upload a minimum of 20 high‑quality neutral selfies with natural variation in lighting, background and accessories.
• Capture additional selfies following specified head‑pose directions to provide pose diversity.
• Provide up to 24 historical images from personal galleries to represent aging and long‑term appearance changes.
• Ensure all images meet the quality‑control criteria to be accepted for payment.

Required profile

• Own a smartphone or camera capable of taking clear facial photos.
• Have a Gmail address to register for the project.
• Be able to follow simple instructions for head‑pose directions.
• Willing to submit more than the minimum number of images (recommended 30) to account for QC rejections.
