Remote Freelance – Face Deduplication Image Collection

About the role

This remote freelance position involves collecting a diverse set of facial images – current neutral selfies, head‑pose captures, and historical photos – to support machine‑learning research and facial‑recognition model training for TELUS.

Key responsibilities

• Take and submit high‑quality frontal selfies with natural variation in lighting, background, and accessories.
• Capture selfies following assigned head‑pose directions to provide pose variation.
• Provide older photographs from personal galleries to represent natural aging.
• Submit a minimum of 20 valid images per batch, aiming for 30 to account for quality‑control rejections.
• Use a Gmail account for all communications and submissions.

Required profile

• No specific education required.
• Access to a smartphone or camera capable of taking clear photos.
• Ability to follow detailed image‑quality guidelines.
• Comfort with uploading and managing digital files.
