About the role
The Transmission & Provisioning Team Lead will manage and supervise a small, dynamic team responsible for rural telecom infrastructure. This role ensures reliable transmission services and effective provisioning of power and network solutions in remote locations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Transmission and Provisioning team.
- Plan, execute, and monitor transmission and provisioning projects.
- Oversee electrical installation, renewable energy integration, standby power plant and UPS system maintenance.
- Ensure system design, installation and maintenance follow best practices and safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with police disclosure requirements.
Required profile
- HNC level or higher in a relevant field.
- Extensive mechanical/electrical telecoms experience.
- Proven management and leadership abilities.
- Experience with electrical installation, renewable energy, standby power plant and UPS systems.
- Track record of system design, installation and maintenance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate in the MS Office suite.
- Certified rescue climber, rope access and rigger.
